Privacy

We use your account details to provide sign in and your records to provide the workspace. Records are private by default. If you publish a Career Profile, visitors can see its introduction and only selected records that you have also marked public. Your original notes stay out of that profile. Evidence links appear only when you choose to show each one on the profile. A colleague’s name, role, and acknowledgement note appear there only when that colleague agrees to public display. Other acknowledgements contribute to a count without showing the colleague’s details.

The current service stores content on our servers so the application can load and save it. It is not end-to-end encrypted today. Authorised service access can read stored content.

If you choose Generate draft preview, we send your original note to our AI processing provider to create suggestions. Opening or saving a note does not send it to an AI provider.

Resume imports

Before uploading, you must explicitly agree to resume processing. After you agree, choosing a resume file starts uploading it. We store the PDF privately and send the complete PDF to Google Gemini to extract your career history. This includes any phone numbers, email addresses or other personal information in the file. We do not remove those details before sending it.

We instruct Gemini to leave contact details out of extracted fields and supporting passages. Before storing a new review, we also replace recognizable email addresses and phone numbers with removal markers. This is not a guarantee that all personal information is detected. Review the suggestions before saving and remove anything you do not want to keep. This filtering does not change the PDF sent to Gemini.

PDFs are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours, and may be deleted sooner after extraction. Extracted source passages, proposed records, your review edits and the profile snapshot are temporary. We delete that review document when you save the import, or schedule it for deletion when its seven-day review period expires. Scheduled deletion may be delayed if the cleanup service is unavailable.

A save receipt containing item identifiers, updated field names and whether your public profile was updated is retained for 30 days, then scheduled for removal. Minimal import metadata, including the consent notice version and time of agreement, remains to record your agreement, prevent duplicate imports and coordinate file deletion. Chapters, records, original bullets and profile details you choose to keep remain in your account. Imported records are private drafts. Selected profile details update your public introduction if your Career Profile is already public.
